Hospital stays can be difficult and lonely for children, especially during the holiday season. A simple gift, whether it’s a pre-loved toy or a new book, can make a world of difference. These gifts help bring smiles, laughter, and a bit of holiday magic to children who need it most.

This year, our goal is to reach more children than ever, with the support of compassionate people like you. With your donation, we can spread holiday cheer and make a lasting impact on their hospital experience.

1. Drop Off Your Gifts:
Donate a pre-loved toy that’s still in good condition, a new book, or a small gift that a child would love. We have convenient collection boxes located at our partner offices around town. Check out our locations below to find the one closest to you!

2. Spread the Word:
Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to participate! The more gifts we collect, the more children we can reach. Share our initiative on social media or simply tell someone about it.

3. Support with a Special Gift:
For those who want to go the extra mile, consider donating new toys, educational games, or school supplies. These gifts help support children’s growth and well-being long after the holiday season.

To ensure safety and joy for all, we kindly ask that you:

• Donate toys that are clean, safe, and in good working condition
• Avoid any battery-operated, dirty, or broken items
• Consider age-appropriate gifts for children ranging from neonatal to 12 years old
• Gifts will be Wrapped prior to delivery to the Ward G7 at Cecilia Makiwane Hospital, and at Wards B4 and B8 (Burns Ward) at Frere Hospital.
